About the Event
Join us as Korean-American violinist and music healer, Sarah MeeRan Cave, leads us on a unique evening journey into healing and renewal. She will begin with an invocation to Mama Cacao, which will unfold into a deep restorative sound bath on violin, viola, and voice. Last, we are joined by tabla and percussion maestro, Akshay Jadhav, who together with Sarah will lead us into an improvised concert— inviting you to move and groove or remain on the floor, letting the healing beats wash over and through you.
SARAH MEERAN CAVE
Sarah MeeRan Cave is a professional violinist, educator, and artist. In addition to her performance career, she has taught music both in the US and abroad, and has explored other artistic pursuits like sculpture and violin making
Akshay Jadhav
Akshay Jadhav discovered his love for the tabla at a young age and has been performing ever since. Trained by his father Shri Ashok jadhav and Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar.
He has showcased his talent in songs like Ghar more pardesia(Kalank), Tere hawale(Laal Singh Chaddha), Lehra do(83), Chandu Champion to name a few. A globetrotting artist, Akshay has collaborated with musicians across genres, leaving a lasting impression on the world of music.
